In this focused 75-minute masterclass, you will learn exactly what AQA examiners are looking for in the extended essay question, how to structure your response, and how to avoid the most common mistakes that cost students marks.

What you will cover in the session:

• How AQA mark the biology essay – the criteria, command words, and what differentiates Level 3 (most common score) from Level 5 answers.
• A reliable, repeatable essay structure you can use in any topic.
• How to integrate key terminology, data, and examples to strengthen your argument.
• What examiners penalise (and how to avoid it).
• Live walkthrough of a model approach to an AQA-style essay question.
